Hi and welcome to Davis Arts! In 2018 we started this journey off as a family venture. Mike, our two kids, and I (Tessa) were all into crafty things at the time, and we thought it’d be a great opportunity to spend time together and teach our kids some business concepts. It wasn’t long, however, before the kids abandoned us for other interests. We decided to continue on without them with Mike making semi-precious stone beaded jewelry, and I making chainmaille jewelry and art.

Since 2018 we have been vendors at the spring and fall Casper Holistic Expos in our hometown of Casper, Wyoming. In 2019 we added the Holiday Craft Fair at the Casper Events Center, and in 2020 the plan was to go all out and pack the calendar with events. 2020 didn’t quite turned out as planned (as I’m sure many of you can relate to).

In 2021, Mike broke off to become The Bead Dude. I moved on to other interests and started Hippie Dabble as a blog. We thought it was the end of Davis Arts LLC completely. By the end of 2021 though, I just couldn’t seem to let Davis Arts LLC go. I proposed we join our interests once again and work to make it something big and meaningful.

On October 28, 2023, we officially turned Hippie Dabble into a full blown brick and mortar store where we carry The Bead Dude’s beautiful handmade work along with candles, card decks, bags for your cards and stones, bonsai kits, books and journals, incense, incense burners, metaphysical stones, mineral lamps, tapestries, tea and tea accessories, tie dye & boho clothing and bags, water fountains, wax burners and melts, yoga and meditation supplies, zen gardens, and more. Our next step is to get The Bead Dude into more locations across the country.

You can check out Mike’s work as The Bead Dude at https://thebeaddude.com and find out what Hippie Dabble is all about at https://hippiedabble.com.
